Pelicans at the Burdekin river
Native Myna Bird
Bowerbird
Lily

Grevillea

My wisteria!

See that little speck? That is a fairy wren taken with my 70-200 plus 2x converter, so shot at 400mm.
I hope to get a close-up one day!

Edit: here's the cropped version

  1. What would happen if you were to crop that last photo? You might get a better view of that bird. When I took the class where I got that photo of the green heron I still had to crop quite a bit.

Love your other birds, they are so interesting to see. The colors on the myna bird are wonderful.

Your lilies are gorgeous! The grevillia is interesting, not something we would see around here.

I've been enjoying your new posts this weekend, Sheralee.

    1. Thanks Viv! I've posted the cropped version and he's a bit too blurry. I keep joking that I need a hide.
