Adelaide, the City of Churches

Noelle, me and Lavella at the Convention Centre where Noelle's classes were.
The Central Markets were really impressive, absolutely huge with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as baked goodies. At the end of the day the leftovers were sold off really cheaply.

There are some lovely old buildings, this one really took my eye.

As the title suggests, Adelaide is home to many beautiful churches, this is just one, it's even more impressive at night.

The pictures on the fence are made up of holes of different sizes in the metal.

See that little speck? That is a fairy wren taken with my 70-200 plus 2x converter, so shot at 400mm.
I hope to get a close-up one day!

Edit: here's the cropped version

The Blue Mountains and Bondi Beach, September 2012

The Three Sisters

David and Me, Ingrid and Tony and a lovely lady we met on the tour.
The cable car we took from one side to the other, it was freezing up there. There was even a few snowflakes.

Our tour guide tried to encourage a funnel web spider out, eeek!
The worn sandstone mountain top
The wind was so fierce the water wasn't making it to the bottom.
Beautiful wisteria, I love it!

Bondi Beach. This pool belongs to the Bondi Icebergs, a club that swims year round.
A kite festival on the beach

The beach was crowded but when we left there were hundreds more arriving.
