We took the bus into Danang and enjoyed walking around, looking at the people and the city. Once again the traffic was crazy and there was lots of motorbikes.
The young riders didn't mind me taking their photo at all and some were quite amused by it.
Beautiful smiles
This is Lu, we spent a couple of minutes chatting, she is 42 and has two daughters, 18 and 5 years. She told me I was beautiful and she was ugly (not true as you can see), she also told me I was very lucky because I had two sons, she was not lucky because she had two daughters. I wish life was a little easier for Lu and her daughters.
A couple of roadside stalls
This little fellow's grandma didn't mind showing him off at all, look at those beautiful eyes.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Danang city!
These are fabulous Sheralee! I have to comment on the dragon fruit because Dennis brought home dried dragon fruit for the kids once - they loved it but we looked it up on the internet and your photo should be the one that comes up in Google - it so vibrant and beautiful and interesting to look at. I love the people photos again. Very nicely captured.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim :)
ReplyDeleteI want to comment on that dragon fruit too! It's beautiful. Did you taste it while you were there? If so what is it like?
ReplyDeleteWhy so many fask masks? Are they protecting on flu or is the smog bad there? That baby is adorable! Funny how the different cultures think it's great to have boys. So sad that Lu doesn't think she's pretty.
Wonderful pics. Thanks for taking me, I probably will never get there.
The dragon fruit is white with tiny black seeds with a firmer texture than watermelon but probably not as sweet, the flavour was quite mild. I love the look of it though.
ReplyDeleteThe face masks are for the traffic fumes, there is so much traffic, mostly motorbikes.
At least they wear helmets!
