'Mums 134 / 365

Wilting Lotus 135 / 365

Itty Bitty Weed 136 / 365
I would not have noticed this tiny little thing only that I was on the ground taking shots of the dew on the grass. It's about 1/2" long at the most.

Waterlily 137 / 365
I tried so hard tonight trying to get some funky fruit shot... didn't work out, so this is a filler from my weekend shots at Anderson Park.

Common Crow on Show 138 / 365
Many of the pretty butterflies seem to have left my garden, maybe because it's getting colder. This lady was happy to show off her lovely markings.

Gramps and the little man 139 / 365
Grandkids are just the sweetest! This little fellow loves his Gramps.

Plumbago 140 / 365
I'm feeling very uninspired. I really should leave the flowers alone for a while. Tomorrow there will be NO flowers :)

  1. Funny you say that about being uninspired with flowers on one of the most beautifully colored bokeh background with a flower! And who would have though a wilting lotus could look so beautiful? I love the grampa and little man... How very precious!

  2. You work magic with your flowers Sheralee, they are gorgeous to look at. That last one is just wonderful! Is that a yellow seed pod on the wilting lotus? Just so interesting and pretty. Love Gramps and the boy, isn't it great to capture such sensitivity between a big tough man and his grandson? Love catching Jim with the boys like this.

  3. The yellow is the seed pod Viv and apparently it is edible. I remember seeing a similar shot of Jim and the boys, maybe you inspired this one :)
