Jan 29 - Wilma Wasp
I'm just guessing this is a girl since she's preparing a nest. She would have to be the most docile wasp I've seen as I accidentally ran my finger under the nest thinking it was a fairy light?! She just sat there. She also went about her business while I took numerous photos with my macro lens.

Jan 30 - mmm Butterfly
So Chel (@Chel) and I went to Boondall Wetlands today to take some photos. Apart from being totally eaten by mozzies we found plenty of interesting things to photograph. I have so much trouble snapping a butterfly, they move too fast for me usually. She looks like she has MMM written on her wings.

More from the Boondall Wetlands. I love the way the silver and gold really shines on her back.

Feb 1 - Wishes (My granddaughters call them wishes)
This is also from the Boondall Wetlands. I've been a little busy awaiting the arrival of the 7th grandchild. So this wish is for a safe one x

Just recording this as the day Yasi had us all terrified. I'm ringing my husband every hour or more for updates. We aren't in the eye though. Just hope everyone can be safe xx

Jan 22 - Shooting star
The sun is shining through the base of the flower. It looks like a shooting star to me :)

I had to come back to my chives because I won't be here when the rest open.

I had to be up early for a flight to Brisbane so this is all I've got. My bird bath with wisteria growing over it.

This is the angelic face of my little grandson who will have a baby brother very soon. I just love his curls. Can you see the mischief behind those angel eyes?

This is a pretty apricot grevillea in the park opposite my son's house in Brisbane. I'll have to explore further in the coming days.
